Sentilla Expands Global Operations With London Office and Executive Appointment

Energy Management Solution Provider Enables UK and European Enterprises to Cut Carbon Footprint and Utility Bills

LONDON, UK, January 13, 2009—Sentilla Corporation, a provider of demand-side energy management solutions for commercial and industrial facilities, today announced that it has opened its first European office in London, UK, and appointed IT industry veteran Alan Wallman as managing director. The move will strengthen Sentilla’s global presence and give enterprises in the UK and Europe direct access to the company’s innovative technology, which can dramatically cut carbon footprint and energy costs.

“Power consumption is an increasingly pressing issue for UK and European-based businesses,” commented Wallman. “A combination of regulatory hurdles, corporate social responsibility targets, rocketing utility bills and real estate shortages means that companies need to squeeze the best possible performance out of their existing infrastructure. Sentilla has the technology to solve this problem, by giving users a fine-grained insight into their energy usage and the data necessary to make significant cuts, both for social and financial good.”

Sentilla, which recently secured $7.5 million in Series B financing, launched its patent-pending energy management technology in May 2008. Its platform can be embedded into virtually any system to provide insight into real world conditions at the source of power consumption.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Wallman brings an unrivalled track record for business development in the UK and Europe to the company. In his previous role at Emulex Corporation, a leading supplier of storage networking infrastructure, Wallman was responsible for growing revenues in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by more than 800 percent.

“2008 was a great year for Sentilla in the US and 2009 will see us build on that success in the UK and Europe,” said Bob Davis, chief executive officer, Sentilla. “Alan’s appointment represents a great step forward for us. He brings significant local market knowledge to Sentilla’s operations, and has the contacts and reputation necessary to realise the full potential of our ground breaking solution in European markets.”
